File Manager in Shared Web Hosting
The File Manager tool, which is a part of our custom Hepsia Control Panel, will allow you to administer all the files that you upload to your shared web hosting account effortlessly. You'll be able to move files and whole folders by dragging-and-dropping them within the account. You could upload content in the same way - select a file/folder on your personal computer and drag it to your web browser where the File Manager is loaded. By right-clicking a file or a folder within your account, you could also access context menus with more sophisticated options - you shall be able to set up or to unpack an archive, to create a password-protected area, to modify the UNIX permissions via a web interface or to change the content with a variety of editors without ever leaving the CP – an HTML editor, a plain text editor or a code editor. We've also provided help articles and educational videos, which you can access straight from the File Manager to learn more about its features.
File Manager in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you host your Internet sites inside a semi-dedicated server account with us, you will be able to benefit from our feature-rich File Manager. The tool is an important part of the in-house built Hepsia CP and is just as simple and user-friendly. It will only take a mouse click to create, rename or delete a file or a folder inside your account and for your ease and comfort, you'll be able to sort the content by type, size, name or last modified date. As the File Manager supports drag-and-drop actions, you may quickly move any content within the account, including folders, and their structure shall be preserved. If you want to upload any content, you will no longer need an FTP program, as you can drag-and-drop the folders straight from your personal computer. The File Manager also comes with more complex features and you shall be able to change file permissions, to work with archives and to edit files with plain text and HTML editors, which may be accessed via right-click context menus.
