A: When your current hosting provider can no longer meet the needs of your site, or if you suffer from regular network downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the help desk support team to reply to you, it might be a smart idea to swap your provider, i.e. to move all the files for your sites as well as your databases from your present provider to your new provider. At CV AWEBSOFT Indonesia, we know that this can often be difficult & time–consuming. This is the reason why we will do all that for you for free!Our highly capable technical team will migrate your web site content from your current provider to us. Our technicians have got a lot of experience with website migration and are able to handle anything – from a common WordPress–driven blog or Joomla^™ CMS–driven web site, to an extremely elaborate, custom–made app.

A: While we cannot give you an exact time frame, since there are lots of variables, including the size of the web files and databases, the physical location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your website and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will try our very best to transfer your web site within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (when the content is not large).

A: We do not collect any sensitive information. We will need, however, the login info for your old hosting account and the name of the website that you wish to transfer.

A: In order for us to begin the migration of your hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to disclose practically the same details you have provided to your previous hosting provider. We’ve also got a very rigorous Privacy Policy, which describes how sensitive info is handled.

A: No. Your web site will stay reachable online during the transfer. As soon as everything is completed on our end, we’ll let you know so that you can preview it and check for problems. If everything is OK, all you will have to do is update your domain name’s DNS resource records.

A: While we migrate your web content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the migration at all. We will never contact them in any way.

A: We can transfer your web site from any hosting provider or any Linux–based web hosting platform so long as we can get access to the Control Panel and there is File Transfer Protocol access available.The only web sites that we’re unable to migrate are the ones based on closed–source software apps such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
